Community Heat Mapping
The initial step in achieving this goal involves the creation of a comprehensive community heat mapping handbook. This handbook will serve as a valuable resource, guiding communities through the intricate process of mapping heat in their local neighborhoods. The guide is designed to incorporate various types of sensors and budgets to be as inclusive to communities as possible. It also goes beyond mapping, offering additional content that includes strategies for heat mitigation, illustrative case studies, and health tips. Through using this handbook, participating communities will be empowered with the tools and knowledge necessary to comprehend the distribution of heat within their locality.
